    2014

    CheckProof was founded by childhood friends, CEO Håkan Holmgren & Jonas Pålgård, with a vision to simplify and digitize inspection, health & safety and quality control, and maintenance routines. The first sketches of the CheckProof app and system were created, setting the foundation for a user-friendly tool to meet frontline needs.

    2015

    The CheckProof app was officially launched. Developed with a focus on ease of use and intuitive design. Jehander (now Heidelberg Materials Sweden) and Pålgårds became the first clients to sign up and helped shape the future development of the platform.

    2016

    CheckProof hired its first employee, Marcus Edlund, and debuted at the Hillhead exhibition, showcasing its solutions internationally. The company expanded beyond Sweden, signing clients in the UK, Estonia, and Norway. Skanska Sweden also joined as a client, marking a significant milestone in CheckProof’s growth and industry adoption.

    2017

    CheckProof gains the first client in China with FLSmidth. Granitor (former Midroc), first signed on as a client to later become a key investor in the company. Key clients like Peab Industry and UK-based companies Wainwright and Longcliffe sign up.

    2018

    Monthly controls reach an all-time high with 20,000 completed monthly checks. At Underhållsmässan in Gothenburg, CheckProof host a contest, engaging users to complete checklists in the fastest time to win an electric bicycle. The company continues is international expansion, marking a year of widening adoption.

    2019

    UK office opens with its first employee hire. CheckProof adds integration capabilities, enabling smoother operations for clients using other industry tools. The app has its largest update, boosting the user-friendly experience. Cemex UK sign up, and Heidelberg sign a global frame agreement. CheckProof exhibits at Bauma, marking its commitment to serving the construction materials industry on a global stage.

    2020

    During the pandemic, CheckProof sees increased adoption as a digital tools become increasingly important with less reliance on key staff. New features like Single Sign-On, Deviation Tags, and Telematics are launched. Telematics data allows information from machines and equipment of several different brands to be managed from one and the same platform. Enhanced analytics enables clients to track metrics like compliance, performance, and safety.

    2021

    Major product upgrades are launched, including Master Checklists and Admin presets. These enhancements strengthen communication for field teams and back-office coordination. CheckProof reaches thousands of active users, signaling rapid adoption across Europe and continues to expand its footprint.

    2022

    Sustainability-focused features rolled out, allowing users to end excessive idling and optimize their fleets better. RFID (NFC) tag scanning is introduced to improve asset tracking and compliance. CheckProof moves into a new office and launches CheckProof Academy, alongside OEM initiatives to better serve clients’ evolving needs.

    CheckProof is named a finalist in Sweden’s TechArenan Challenge, recognized for innovation in digital transformation and workplace safety. The company gain the ISO 27001 certification, solidifying its commitment to quality. The new Planning Tool is released, dramatically improving scheduling and resource management capabilities for its clients.

    2024

    With investment from Viking Venture, a leading Nordic Venture Capitalist firm, CheckProof embarks on an accelerated growth and new market expansion journey. A new German office opens to support European growth. Currently, over 130,000 monthly checks are performed by users in more than 35 countries. The app now supports 20 languages, the platform also supports sensor integrations thus expanding CheckProof’s data capturing and maintenance trigger capabilities.
